My Tree of Life

The wind wound round your bark Spiralling lines and shapes

Binding your roots into the foreverness of life’s

unknowingness

Reaching up to the cloud dappled sky

Protected by the nights stars and moons

You stand tall and fervent

And flow effortlessly through the light of day

Silently you grow and bud through the cycles of life

And drop your leaves in the shivering quiver of the

winter winds breath

You stand alone

Perfectly balanced

In the beauty of this garden

How many of us give time to admire you

And appreciate this garden

Which would be different without your presence

You are an embellishment of life itself

Echoing the frame of our bones

Gracefully you grow

Gracefully you go

Into the eternal nowness

Togetherness

And

Foreverness

My tree of life
